Is this a New York Thing?

The President hates people who "talk to slowly" and mocks them "Hurry it up!  Get it the point!  I asked 'how you are' but  I DON'T ACTUALLY WANT TO HEAR IT."  ...And he laughs at his own terrible cleverness.....
